We got up pretty early on Saturday and biked up to the set to try to get a glimpse of stars and cars. We didn't catch any of the explosions (boo), but we did see two groups of base jumpers with wing suits!
They put the bridge up and even staged some cars on the side they weren't shooting on. (At least, not this weekend.)

They had some kind of souped up, well-armored Nascar racers.
As we left, we saw this boat and thought there was no way it was just some ordinary boat which had a bad galley fire. We were right! (Second picture is from the newspaper.)

It's so interesting to see some of the behind the scenes action. I don't know how those cameramen were able to film on top of such a tall building. It makes me dizzy just looking at them!
ReplyDeleteI think it's so cool to see the sets! A thinks it's boring because you wait around forever just waiting for one thing to happen. We were lucky we spotted the cameramen - I glanced up to look at the filming helicopter and thought the roof looked strange! haha!
