The Time We Dyed Our Necks Pink

Posts recapping our wedding would be incomplete without one about our rehearsal dinner. We let A's parents have full rein in making the plans, and we never could have imagined what they'd come up with!

This fabulous vehicle showed up to get us:

Yes, that is a pink Hummer limo. It was pretty awesome, and we all got rad black and pink beads to wear. Admit it, you're jealous.

We first headed to dinner at Carmine's in Ybor City. Yummy Cuban food and lots of wine and beer. But that wasn't all... after dinner, a salsa instructor showed up to give us lessons!

But wait a minute, didn't I already say that we had a choreographed salsa number for our first dance? During the lesson, A and I had to control our giggles over the fact that we had many more complicated moves ready to go for the next day!

The beads were pretty fun at the time, but they gave us an unpleasant surprise: apparently the dye bleeds! For a few minutes we were panicked about having pink necks for the ceremony, but the dye came off with soap. Whew!

When we got back in the limo, we had dessert shots of Baileys.

Before heading home, we stopped at Whiskey Joe's where we all got out on the dance floor.

Definitely a memorable rehearsal dinner!
